Am I the only one that really likes stickers but is afraid to commit to putting the rare ones on something permanently? I never keep laptops long enough to cover the lid with them and I don't know what else to put them on.

The M1 Air is silently encoding a video with ffmpeg compiled for x86_64 (under Rosetta) at 1.8x while the Intel Air is doing the same with a native binary at only ~1x (with its fan screaming)

I wonder how fast a natively compiled/optimized ffmpeg would run...

Come on, Apple. The drives in your laptops haven't ever looked like this but it's still the default icon.
